Tis' the Season to meet up with buddy classes! Mrs. Collins’ kindergarten and Mrs. Colling’s 2nd grade buddies worked together on reindeer stories. Mrs. Kelsey's kindergarten and Mrs. Stuck's 2nd grade class had the chance to play a roll and color game.
The Gingerbread Cookies were on the loose at Holly Hills School! Kindergarten students searched and searched as fast as they could on the hunt for their tasty treats! Luckily their cookies returned to their classrooms!
Ms. Champion & Mrs. D-R’s 2nd Graders had a Grinchy Guest for Grinch Day 💚❤️ He snuck into our class for some fun and mischief. He left his dog Max at home in charge of Coffee Making 🎄🎄🎄
Second Grade worked hard all week writing descriptive stories about gingerbread houses, so it was time to roll up their sleeves and create some real ones! Look at these delicious houses from Mrs. Colling's and Ms. Champion's classes.
Pajamas, story time and hot chocolate was the way we wrapped up this festive week! Students in PreK-3rd cozied with their classmates as they heard the Polar Express while sipping on cocoa!
Holly Hills Students were treated to a sampling of Jersey Fresh cranberries and apple cider thanks to the NJ Department of Agriculture Jersey Fresh Farm to School Program. Yummy!
Holly Hills' Third grade Book 📕 Club had a great time reading "The Great Pet Escape"! Students showcased their creativity and got to make their own Pom Pom pet ornaments.
HHS Junior Student Council had so much fun on our Holiday shopping trip to Target. The kids worked together to pick out the perfect gifts for our Giving Tree. We are so proud of them ♥️ 🎄
Kindergarten students at Holly Hills spent the morning learning about Hanukkah! They were treated to some Latkes and Applesauce as they heard the story, The Runaway Latkes. What a fun morning learning about others cultures and beliefs!

We are feeling Merry & Bright at Holly Hills this Friday! Mrs. Kressley's, Mrs. Galvis' & Mrs. MacManiman's classes gathered together for some K/1st/3rd Grade Buddy Fun! Mrs. Kelsey's class enjoyed Pajama day and graphed how they ate gingerbread man cookies! Some First grade students also learned all about holiday traditions around the world. Today they played the dreidel game to celebrate Hanukkah!

Holly Hills had a little fun today celebrating, Rock, Paper, Scissors Day! Staff challenged each other throughout the day to protect their necklaces but only three staff ended the day Victorious! Mrs. Arias-1st place, Ms. Yoerke-2nd & Ms. Hollenbeck-3rd. Third graders from Mrs. Hudson's and Ms. John's class also joined in on the fun with their own Tournament against each other!
Ms. Champion & Mrs. D-R’s class met with their 1st Grade Buddies, Ms. Malone’s class. They listened to the story “Turkey Trouble” and then had fun making disguises for their turkeys together 🦃

Mrs. Collins’ Kindergarten and Mrs. Colling’s 2nd grade buddy classes celebrated their annual Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Students feasted while watching the show together. They also expressed their thanks to many kind staff members throughout Holly Hills School.
What an amazing American Education Week! Students at Holly Hills were treated to Guest Speakers, who taught them all about how STEAM connects to their jobs! Students played guess the teacher's school picture & ended the week with ice cream and a game show (teachers vs students)!
First Graders in Ms. Malone's class spent time this week learning about American symbols 🇺🇸and honoring all Veterans! 🦅
