We are now quickly approaching the tail end of the 2nd marking period and well into the swing of things! The 8th graders are heading into their final second half of their WMS experience ~ forever. As a co-teacher, I have the pleasure of taking this journey with many of them ~ through Pythagorean Theorem and slope with Mr. Burke, atomic structures with Mrs., Duba, Manifest Destiny with Mr. Powers, to Poe anthologies with Mr. Tornquist! Great academia is happening here in these middle school hallways (not to mention beautifully decorated holiday doors!) Our students are steadily becoming high school ready - both physically and mentally! Helping our formative youth stay on track both academically and behaviorally is the goal after the winter break and for the remainder of the year. Together ~ students, parents, guardians, educators, and everyone involved in our school community is part of this process. “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” Helen Keller
