teamwork

What's gonna work? Teamwork! That's the topic of conversation in our Physical Education Class. Students started the year working in small groups to complete various challenges during the Cooperative Activities Unit. Examples of challenges include; crossing a river of lava using a scooter and rope, transfering toxic waste safely, and unknotting the dreaded fisherman's tangle! Each scenario has a series of challenges that progressively gets more difficult. It's always interesting to see the innovative solutions our Westampton students create to solve each challenge. Trust, communication, patience, and problem solving are just a few skills each group demonstrates throughout the activities. At the conclusion, we discuss how these skills can also apply to our lives outside of the activities.
