8th grade students completed a Google Slide project describing how the skill and health related components of fitness are used in various sports and activities. 

Some examples of how we improve our fitness levels in PE include:
*Increasing muscular endurance during our 1 minute low plank and burpees fitness tracker challenge.
*Increasing our cardiovascular endurance during our class workouts.
*Improving our balance and flexibility on Wellness Wednesdays during Yoga inspired routines and mindful meditation.
