The WMS Gym is serving up a lot of fun with Volleyball in Phys Ed!

Students in 6th-8th Grade spent class time learning and perfecting the basic skills needed for Volleyball - Serving, Forearm Passing, Setting, and Spiking. Students did a great job helping one another with their form. 
Small lead up games such as Keep It Up and Serving Hoops were played to see our skills in action. Once we were ready to up our game, we made our three rows on the court, reviewed how to rotate, and started to play Volleyball games!
Volleyball is an incredibly fun game that improves coordination, agility, reaction time, reiterates our sportsmanship rules, and requires a ton of teamwork. It's also another one our many activities that promote life long fitness!
