This year The Westampton Drama Department is beyond excited to be performing the classic musical, Grease, as our spring musical. Auditions began this week and a plethora of students emerged ready to fill the shoes of the iconic characters who once roamed the halls of the legendary Rydell High.
The show, written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, was first performed in Chicago in 1971. Its fast-growing and overwhelming success later helped bring the show to Broadway the following year. It later inspired the classic movie which debuted in 1978 making the songs and characters familiar to fans across the world.
The show will be performed at Westampton Middle School on March 21-23 and show times are as follows:
