6th grade

On Wednesday, September 6, the Class of 2026 officially began their start at Westampton Middle School with an orientation night.  Students were welcomed to the school by Mrs. Holloway-Taluy, Principal of WMS.  Introductions were made, and students were sent to see their homerooms.  Parents remained in the cafeteria for a presentation by Mrs. Holloway- Taluy.

In both the cafeteria and the classrooms, life as a middle schooler was discussed, questions answered, and of course nerves were helped to be settled.  Students then scoured the school as they searched for clues in a scavenger hunt designed by Mrs. Dombrowski to help the students get to know the middle school.  They made their way through the hallways seeing everything through middle schooler’s eyes, while also helping our students who were new to the district feel at home as well.  The entire sixth grade team of teachers were there to help lend support, help direct, but also begin getting to know our new students as well.

Mrs. Dombrowski wrapped up the event with a “quiz” in the gym.  By the way the students answered the questions, we could already tell they were ready for the adventures that middle school brings!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the orientation a success and helped to welcome the class of 2026!
