Westampton Intermediate School

Ms. Gambino and Ms. Fircak’s classes have been working on line plots in math class. After a long week of testing, the classes spent the afternoon outside completing the “Line Plot Olympics”. Students competed in three different activities: Long Jump, High Jump, and 100-Meter Dash. After recording the times from the different activities, students then made line plots representing the data that they collected. The students made three different line plots and answered questions about each plot. The students worked both independently and cooperatively to practice their line plot skills. They had a great time getting outside and using their knowledge for something fun!
