The WIS Volunteerism and Community Club embraced the spirit of the season by reaching out to support the local community through several meaningful initiatives. Club members organized a food drive benefiting a local food bank, collecting a generous supply of nonperishable items to help families in need.
In addition, students created colorful placemats to brighten the days of residents at a nearby nursing home, spreading cheer and kindness through their thoughtful handiwork. The club also received a donation from an anonymous community supporter, which allowed members to host a special breakfast for WIS staff as a gesture of appreciation.
These efforts were met with gratitude from all who benefited, highlighting the dedication, creativity, and generosity of the WIS Volunteerism and Community Club and the advisors, Ms. Bajzath and Ms. McSwain.
