Negotiations Committee

The Negotiations Committee is an ad-hoc subcommittee of the Westampton School Board. It is comprised of not more than 4 Board members and district administration that can include the Board Secretary, Business Administrator, and the Superintendent. Members are appointed by the President of the School Board. The Committee elects a Chairperson prior to a negotiation period.

The role of the Negotiations Committee of the Westampton School Board includes:

  • Perform good faith negotiations between the Board of Education, represented (union) and at-will (non-union) employees. Represented groups include: Teachers and Support Staff (WEA), Principals and Supervisors (WAA), as well as other non-union employees.

  • Recommend a tentative contract to the full BOE for approval
