Greeting from the Superintendent

Westampton Township Public Schools

Mr. James DiDonato

Dear Westampton Parents and Residents,

I am honored to introduce myself as Westampton Township's Superintendent of Schools. First, I would like to congratulate Dr. Petruzzelli on his retirement and to thank him for his 5 years of service to the Westampton children and their community.

A brief summary about me. I have lived in Lumberton Township for 22 years with my incredible wife of 25 years and our two amazing college students. I have 23 years of education experience. From teacher assistant to superintendent, I have served in numerous roles, including teacher, supervisor, director, and board member. This week began my 7th year as a superintendent of schools.

Through the following months and years, I hope to connect with, work with, and learn from many of you. Most importantly, I recognize that this role comes with a 'Giant' responsibility. I accept and am ready for this opportunity. I promise to wake up daily thinking about your children's safety, their love of learning, their care for self and community, and their academic success.

There is no greater mission than to serve children.

 Sincerely,

 Jim
