Affirmative Action Office
No student enrolled in the Westampton Township Public School District shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in any educational program or activity of this district on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, ancestry, national origin, place of residence, social or economic conditions, or non applicable handicap. The Affirmative Action Officer shall be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring an Affirmative Action program with respect to school and classroom practices.

Sexual harassment of staff or children interferes with the learning process and will not be tolerated in the Westampton Township Public School District. Harassment by board members, employees, parents, students, vendors and others doing business with the district is prohibited. Any child or staff member who has knowledge of or feels victimized by sexual harassment should immediately report his/her allegation to the affirmative action officer. Anyone else who has knowledge of or feels victimized by sexual harassment should immediately report his/her allegation to the superintendent. Individuals whose behavior is found to be in violation of this policy will be subject to appropriate sanctions as determined and imposed by the superintendent/board.
